Going to Boracay has become a yearly thing for me because I regularly join the Boracay Ultimate Tourney. I’ve been there 10 times already since I was 7 years old, including trips with family, college friends, ex-boyfriend. :-/ But this year’s Boracay trip is something that I really enjoyed, and maybe the best one for me. After the tourney, we extended our vacation for another day and stayed at the wonderful Boracay Regency Resort. And I meant really stayed in the resort, we didn’t care about the beach anymore. It’s like it has it’s own world. In fact, I was able to recover mentally and physically from all the Manila stress and at the same time, I got to spend quality time with Papi. He taught me how to swim! :)
We got a free room upgrade to an Executive Suite. I wasn’t really after the room upgrade because we did spend most of our time in the pool area. However, the fun perk we got is the access to VIP Lounge. Free snack food and drinks, including coffee and alcoholic beverage. Well if you know me, I’m a sucker for anything free. Our breakfast got upgraded too from buffet to an exclusive order all you want (ala-carte type) at Christina.
Notice that I didn’t take a photo of the bathroom. Though it has a separate shower and bathtub, the bathroom is just so-so. Toiletries are not complete and I notice that they are not branded.
Really satisfied with our stay at the Regency. Great great service from their staff. Looking forward to staying there once again.
